Study abroad FAQs

Clear answers to the questions students and parents ask us most. For country-specific questions, see each destination guide.

What does an overseas education consultant do?

An overseas education consultant helps you choose a country, course and university that fit your profile and budget, then guides you through applications, SOPs, finances and the student visa. At Veroway, we also brief students and parents before departure.

When should I start preparing to study abroad?

Start 10 to 12 months before your intended intake. That gives you time to take an English test, shortlist universities, meet application deadlines and complete the visa process without rushing. Some countries, such as Sweden and Finland, have deadlines in January for courses starting in August or September.

Which country is best for Indian students?

There is no single best country. The right choice depends on your academic profile, budget, chosen field, language and long-term plans, such as whether you want to return to India or work abroad. We compare options honestly instead of pushing one destination.

Do I need IELTS to study abroad?

Most universities in English-speaking countries ask for an English test such as IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL or Duolingo. Some universities accept Class 12 English marks or offer waivers, but your visa may still need a test score, so we check both requirements.

How much does it cost to study abroad?

Your total cost includes tuition, living costs, visa fees, health insurance and travel, and it varies widely by country, city and course. Public universities in Germany charge little or no tuition, while private universities in the USA or UK cost more. We build a realistic budget for each option you consider.

Can I study abroad after a study gap?

Yes. Many universities accept students with gaps if you can explain them, for example with work experience, courses or family reasons. We help you document and explain your gap clearly in your SOP.

Can I work part-time while studying abroad?

In most popular destinations, yes, within limits set by your student visa. Examples include up to 20 hours a week during term in the UK and up to 48 hours a fortnight in Australia. Part-time income helps with living costs but should not be relied on to pay tuition.

Can Veroway guarantee my admission or visa?

No. Universities make admission decisions and governments make visa decisions, so no honest consultant can guarantee either. What we promise is accurate advice, careful preparation and complete documents, which give you the best possible chance.

Do you help with the SOP and LOR?

Yes. We guide you through planning and revising your Statement of Purpose and tell your referees what a strong Letter of Recommendation should include. The writing stays your own.

Can my parents join the consultation?

Yes, and we encourage it. Studying abroad is a family decision, so we keep parents informed at every stage.

I don't live near Wandoor. Can you still help me?

Yes. Our office is in Wandoor, Malappuram, and students elsewhere can reach us by phone, WhatsApp or email for guidance.

Is MBBS from abroad valid in India?

It can be, if the program meets the National Medical Commission's foreign medical graduate regulations, including course length, internship and language of instruction, and you then pass the required licensing exam in India. Always check this before you accept an offer.
